 Developed and tested for 18 months by James Stewart, our new F3 is an evolution of the Forma Pro. The boot that Motocross Action Magazine hailed as the "best bootyless boot on the market." but with Working Stewart's help, we made the F3 even better. After years of development we can say with confidence, the F3 boot exceeds the standards of the most demanding rider in the world.
How It Works:
• Suede heel strip locks heel in place.
• Lateral I-beam support gives increased ankle support.
• In molded strap recievers (Patent pending) gives increased strength and reduced bulk.
• 3D molded lasting board is molded to follow the contour of the foot.
• Performance 5mm EVA footbed for enhanced comfort.
• Steel shank provides maximum sole strength.
• Air mesh liner facilitates moisture transport breathability.
• Shock absorbing EVA outsole insert reduces fatigue in ankle.
Biomorphic Chassis™:
Instead of folding flat plastic pieces, we engineered a one-piece, 3D chassis to more precisely match the curves of your foot. Using multi-density plastics, we made specific regions of the chassis harder for protection and support, while leaving other regions softer for flexibility and comfort. Shaped to match your leg, the 3D molded shin plate and calf guard fit great, with or without a knee/shin guard or knee brace.
PivotLock™ Buckle System:
Solid and secure. The all new buckle lever shape makes the buckles more secure and more intuitive in function. The lip of the lever automatically engages and aligns itself for a simple and secure fit. Buckle bases pivot on their axis allowing perfect alignment between buckle and strap. This provides maximum support with unparelleled flexibility.
In-molded receivers, Co-molded underlays. The strap receivers are molded into the chassis and shin plate, increasing strength while reducing bulk on top of the foot. The co-molded underlays help to disperse the pressure of the buckle strap across the top of the foot, for a more comfortable, dynamic fit.
Soft touch interface. The soft, grippy rubber insert on the buckle lever makes for comfortable use in any condition, wet or dry, hot or cold.
DuraTrak™ Outsole Design:
Improved durability. New for the F3 outsole is an improved compound for increased durability. The tread design is inspired by the highly successful herringbone design, originated on the Fox Forma Pro. The race inspired sole allows for 100% foot peg interface in any foot position.
In addition to the shock-absorbing midsole, the F3 goes one step further by adding a new, compression molded EVA outsole insert. The new outsole is lighter yet has superior shock and vibration absorption, lessening fatigue to the ankle, knee and back.
